Dealing with the loss of a loved one can be difficult to process with varying emotions and experiences. A music therapy bereavement support group will be helpful for the bereaved to process and cope with their loss. Music can serve as a creative means to engage and communicate with others during a sensitive time such as bereavement. Led and facilitated by Justina Abah, MA, MT-BC, board-certified music therapist, the music therapy group experience can provide an intentional, artistic, tranquil, and creative environment that will allow the group members to be vulnerable with one another. Participants will also be able to have a healthy space to express common emotions that are a result of grief from a genuine space within themselves.

For adults 18 and up who have lost a parent, sibling, spouse, grandparents or close loved one within the last 2 years
